Stephanie Sartori
Stephanie Sartori is an Interior Designer in Rochester, NY.
Stephanie Sartori was born in Syracuse, NY and attended Syracuse University's College of Visual & Preforming Arts' Design School's Environmental & Interior Design Program. During college she worked on campus at Newhouse's "Cage" Student/Faculty Equipment Loan, where she helped keep equipment organized and student/faculty information documented, while also accommodating equipment loans. After earning her B.F.A. Stephanie found a job as an interior designer at Ethan Allen Design Center in Dewitt, NY. There, she worked closely with her fellow designers and clients to create functional and beautiful residential designs. This also included becoming knowledgeable on Ethan Allen's furniture, accessories, policies, and sales interface. With a small staff, she also would help with arranging and moving furniture throughout the showroom, and organizing the back warehouse periodically. This job, being sales, also required meeting monthly commission and keeping clients up to date on purchase statuses. Then in 2016 Stephanie received an e-mail reaching out to her from a fellow student from her time at SU about an open position at LaBella Associates in Rochester. Considering it somewhat serendipitous, Stephanie decided to take her fellow designer up on the job offer, and moved down the thruway to a new career after heartfelt goodbyes to her fellow designers at Ethan Allen. Currently employed at LaBella Associates, Stephanie now designs interior spaces for large commercial projects. She especially enjoys the variety of types of projects she gets to work on, in comparison to her prior experience in residential design. To date, she has worked on a handful of projects in K-12, Higher Education, Corporate, and Municipal Design. Her favorite part of her job is that she is able to still flex her creativity with the possibility of seeing her hard work get turned into actual spaces. In her free-time, Stephanie enjoys playing video games, camping, and creating art. She currently lives with her fiance, Justin Steinman, an aspiring writer. Most recently Stephanie has created 27 pen and ink illustrations for her fiance's first book which they hope to have out into the world soon. She also submitted several art pieces to the Great New York State Fair's Fine Art Competition and has won a few ribbons for her work.
